Obituary for Elmer "Al" Bohn

Elmer "Al" Bohn
Elmer Robert Bohn "Al", longtime resident of Roseville, died peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. He was 83 years of age.

Al was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 19, 1934, son of the late John and Agnes (Miller) Bohn. He was united in marriage to his beautiful wife, Charlene Marie Champine, on April 18, 1953 in St. Paul Catholic Church of Grosse Pointe Farms. The couple made their home in Roseville and their union was blessed with seven beautiful children of whom they loved and cherished. Al always provided for his family and worked over 30 years for I X L Auto Trim of Grosse Pointe, retiring in 2003. He was a car enthusiast who always had a helping hand. Al had a wonderful sense of humor and always had great advice to give. We are truly grateful for our strong Patriarch, Al, who taught us to be more giving, understanding and loving by the life he led. He will be deeply missed and his light will continue to glow in our hearts forever.

Al is the beloved and devoted husband of the late Charlene; dearest father of Patrick (Cheryl) Bohn, Tonette (Tom) Nicholoy, Allen (the late Patricia) Bohn , Cheryl (Craig) Bosco, Paula Bohn and the late Craig and Joseph Bohn; dear father-in-law of Melissa Bohn; cherished grandfather of many adored grandchildren, beautiful great grandchildren and two adorable great great grandchild; and loving brother of Irene Rosa and the late Pete (Frances) Bohn, Magdalene Triglia John (Anna) Bohn, Bernice (Herman) Bowers, Regina (Bob) Brendle, Louis (Elizabeth) Bohn, Josephine (Thomas) Tracy and Alphonse Bohn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2pm - 8pm and Friday from 9am until the time of funeral at 11am. Share memories at www.faulmannwalsh.com
