Bernard Anthony Holzhauer, longtime resident of Roseville, died peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on April 5, 2017. He was 83 years of age.
Bernard was born on July 24, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan, son of the late Joseph and Anna (Lamberth) Holzhauer. He served our country honorably in the U.S. Air force during the Korean War. He worked for many years as a linesman for Bell Telephone and later AT&T, retiring at 65. Outside of his work, he enjoyed watching TV, especially Westerns, and was an avid bike rider. Although he was a quiet and private person, his memory will live on in our hearts forever.
Bernard is the dearest brother of Donna Legato, Charles and Joann Holzhauer and the late John Holzhauer, Anna White, Frank Holzhauer and Katherine Bohn.
