The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Frances Nelson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Muriel Haney
Condolence: I feel your pain and know that Fran will truly be missed by the her family and the many friends she had during her time with us. I remember her thoughts that she shared with me when Patrick died back in 2011. We were shocked when Jim died and I know that he was there with his arms outstretched welcoming her home. She was a kind woman and the world will be sad without her.

Condolence: Fran will truly be missed. She was a very sweet, kind lady, who even after retirement she was always there to help her friends.  Always had a smile on her face . Fran always would bring holidays in style at the office, I remember that tall, slim figure coming into the office with her homemade vests on to represent each holiday... Thoughts and Prayers to Fran's Kids and Grand kids... She is a Special Angel in Heaven to now join her husband... :(  ♡♡

Condolence: Dear Family, Jerry and I are deeply sorry for your loss and know how much she will be missed by all. She has always been a loving cousin, friend, as well as a great coworker. Her sense of family was evident in how she was there for her children when she lost made her husband Jim at such a young age. I personally, remember how helpful she was when we were planning the "Lozen" family reunions as well as contributing to booklets, t-shirts and family memorabilia. Love to all, and may she rest in peace.

As you more than likely know, Fran was more than just one of the kids that hung together in High School. She was an important part of the core group. It was Pat Turner, Fran, Me, Mike Tidall, Linda Nescje, (another Linda that I have simply forgotten her last name) and now and again Dave Trombly. We were pretty much together for school events, picnic and such. We once went out in the mouth of the Clinton River with Dave's canoe and purposely tipped it over and swam around. Never thought much about the stuff that was surely in that polluted stream.

I lost track of Joe and Mike right after we joined the military in 62 but Id run into Fran now and again here and there. She had more than her share of tragedy in her life what with losing her husband so early on.

It's amazing how in one sense it seems to long ago and in another, it seems like those long ago days were just yesterday.

As I said earlier, I am praying for your family as you walk this terrible road. If there is anything I can do to help, fetch someone from the airport or whatever, you have my phone number 586-504-0781

Condolence: I am truly sorry for your loss. Many feel that death is a problem with no solution. God has provided a solution—a resurrection hope for those who have passed away. Imagine planning together for an everlasting future, never again having to say goodbye to your loved one. May the promises found in God’s Word (Revelation 21:4 and John 11:25) and the loving support of family and friends continue to be with you during this difficult time. My deepest sympathy.
