Lucille Margaret Frantz (nee Fairgrieve), passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. She was 94 years old.
Lucille was born on June 12, 1922 in Louisville, Kentucky to Clarence and Lillian (nee Gross) Fairgrieve. She grew up in Michigan and worked for many years as a unit secretary at St. John Hospital-Moross in Detroit. Lucille was a longtime resident of Roseville and was a former member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Roseville.
Outside of work, she was an avid swimmer at the YMCA, loved to sing, teach and play the organ for her grandchildren, and enjoyed watching television sitcoms. Above all, Lucille was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love with always stay with them.
Lucille is survived by her cherished grandchildren, Emory "Eric" (Angela) Snyder, Wendy (James) Gregarek, and Jason Snyder; beloved great grandchildren Tyler, Austin, Derek, Kyle, Shane, Nathan, Julia, Jake, and Ava;and beloved great-great-granddaughter Emma.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Suzanne Carolyn Frantz.
