Obituary for Donald Marker

Donald Marker
Donald Marker, lifelong resident of Detroit, died peacefully May 4, 2017. He was 85 years of age.

Don was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 29, 1932, son of the late Stanley and Bessie (Zezula) Marker. He served our country honorably in the U.S. Army and was very honored to do so. Don was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Edna Richardson, on October 23, 1971 at Highland Church of Christ in Detroit. The couple was blessed with two children, Colleen and Toby Marker of whom he loved and cherished. Don was an avid reader who always enjoyed listening to Dale Carnegie and reading his books. He was very knowledgeable and was a History and Geography Buff. When it came to Jeopardy, he had all the right answers. Don was a gentle gentleman who always had a helping hand to lend. He will be deeply missed.

Don is the loving husband of Edna; cherished father of Colleen and Tody Marker; and dearest brother of Ronald.

A memorial gathering will be held from 6pm until time of service at 7pm. Share memories at www.faulmannwalsh.com
