Obituary for Vera Hojara McCauley (Hojara)
Vera Annie Hojara McCauley, longtime resident of Warren, died peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on December 20, 2017. She was 69 years of age.
Vera was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 25, 1948. She was blessed with three beautiful children of whom she loved and cherished. Vera was united in marriage to her devoted husband, Jack Bruce McCauley, on September 20, 1985 and the couple made their home in Warren. She loved making her home welcomed to all and made everyone feel special. Vera was known for her cooking and hospitality. She loved traveling, especially to special place in Aruba where Jack and her made memories every year. Vera also enjoyed her weekend trips in Michigan and absolutely loved Caseville. Her greatest joy was her family; especially her grandchildren and enjoyed each and every moment shared in their company. Although we grieve her passing, we are truly grateful for our Vera who has taught us to be more genuine, giving and loving by the life she led. She will be deeply missed but will continue to live in our hearts forever.
