Charles R. Anthony, longtime resident of Sterling Heights, died peacefully in his home on May 5, 2018. He was 74 years of age.
Charles was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 30, 1943, son of the late Charles E. and Elizabeth (Koches) Anthony. He was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Dorothy Bahleda on June 20, 1964 at St. Athanasius Catholic Church of Roseville. The couple made their home in Sterling Heights and was blessed with two beautiful daughters of whom they loved and cherished. Charles retired in 1997 from Chrysler after working 33 dedicated years. He loved the great outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Charles was a family man who adored his grandchildren. He will always be known for his gentle smile, his big heart and helping hand he extended to others. Charles will be deeply missed and he will continue to live in our hearts forever.
Charles is the beloved husband of the late Dorothy; cherished father of Deborah Solomon and Doreen (Randy) Johnson; adored grandfather of Aaron and Amanda Solomon; dearest great grandfather of Madison; and loving brother of the late Steve Anthony.
