Obituary for Diane Pettine (Kinnard)

Diane  Pettine (Kinnard)
Diane Louise Pettine, a longtime resident of Macomb County, died peacefully in her son's home, surrounded by the love of her son and daughter-in-law, following a long illness. She was 69 years of age.

Diane was born in Detroit on September 19, 1948, a daughter of the late Aaron and Alma (Ellis) Kinnard. Diane lived in Sterling Heights from 1972 until moving to Fraser in 1994. Diane had worked for many years at the Federal Mogul Company as an executive secretary. She loved sewing and crafting making personalized Christmas ornaments for family and friends. She loved to bake and was known for her cookies and German chocolate cake. She was an animal lover especially her dogs, Ivy and the late Mandi. Diane was a very caring and loving person, thoughtful, giving and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Diane is survived by her loving and caring son, Raymond (Raquel); her sister Carol (David) Angeleri; step grandchildren, Daniel (Darcy), Diana, and Maxwell and great-grandson Cohen; She is also survived by her niece Christine, nephew Michael and former husband Kenneth. She was preceded in death by her loving daughter Catherine.

Visitation will be held at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd., Fraser, Friday from 2pm till 8pm and Saturday from 10am till time of funeral services at 11am. Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Life celebration will be held at Villa Restaurant of Eastpointe following the cemetery service. Memorial donations in her honor to Humane Society appreciated.
