Christopher D. Buckley, a resident of Sterling Hts., died Friday morning suddenly and peacefully in his sleep at home. He was 60 years of age.
Chris was born in Detroit on January 31, 1958, a son of the late Thomas and Janet (Cook) Buckley. He was a graduate of Lake Shore High School. A former resident of Mt.Clemens, he has resided in Sterling Hts. for over 6 years. Chris was a self employed Automotive Engineer who worked out of his home for many years. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, pistol range shooting, and especially enjoying his group of friends in the Pizza Monday Club. He was known for his loving and outgoing personality and his sense of humor. Chris will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Chris is survived by his loving and cherished children, Dionna and Reid; his loving brothers and sisters, Lon (Mary), Tom (Dina), Sandy Rodgers, Janet Russell, James Buckley and Kim Mayer. He is also survived by his former wife Laura Lynn and many nieces and nephews. Chris was preceded in death by his brother, Dan.
