Obituary for MaryLou Bradley (Steiber)

MaryLou Bradley (Steiber)
MaryLou Pauline Bradley, resident of St. Clair Shores and former longtime resident of Monroe and Fraser, Michigan, died peacefully October 10, 2018. She was 80 years of age.

MaryLou was born in Sheridan, North Dakota on April 4, 1938, daughter of the late John and Tillie (Michel) Steier. She was married to Robert Bradley Sr. and was blessed with a son of whom she loved and cherished. MaryLou was a dedicated employee of Grand Trunk Railway for 39 years as their computer operator. Moving to Monroe, she began raising standardbred horses. MaryLou loved all of them and took great pride in "Full of Energy", her favorite mare, who took home some winners. She kept very active in all her days and built strong relationships along the way. MaryLou enjoyed the warm summer months playing golf and the winter months bowling. She also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends; especially Gin Rummy. Above all, MaryLou loved her family and especially adored her MSU Spartan granddaughters; she loved watching them grow and was always their biggest fan. She will always be known as a "Small town girl" with a feisty and outgoing personality who was a proud American. MaryLou will be deeply missed and her light will continue to glow in all of our hearts forever.

MaryLou is the beloved mother of Robert (Kristyn) Bradley Jr.; cherished grandmother of Abbey and Dalaney; dearest sister of the late Irene, Joseph and Della; loving aunt to many nieces and nephews; dear former wife of the late Robert Sr.; and dearest friend to many.

Visitation will be held at Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Road, Fraser, Saturday from 2pm until the time of funeral at 5pm. Memorial contributions may be addressed to your favorite veteran's organization. Share memories at
