Obituary

William Leo Rienecke, resident of Morro Bay, California and former longtime resident of Sterling Heights, died peacefully May 24, 2021. He was 79 years of age.

William was born in February 13, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan, son of the late William Frederich and Clara (Schikowski) Rienecke. He was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Joyce Anne Plamp, on June 25, 1972 at Grace Lutheran Church of Redford. The couple made their home in Sterling Heights and was blessed with two wonderful sons of whom he loved and cherished. He had a successful career as a Mechanical Engineer for the architecture and building design for over 30 years. He was a faithful man who enjoyed helping were needed. He was an active member of Faith Lutheran of Troy; and enjoyed being in Faith Seniors. Bill loved his family and always made sure they were well provided for. Bill enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, Rocko and Joy, and Rocko enjoyed it when Grandpa Bill read books to him. He will be deeply missed and his light will continue to glow in our hearts forever.

Bill is the loving husband of the late Joyce; dearest father of Steven (Tamar Carmona) and the late Paul; cherished grandfather of Rocko and Joy; and beloved brother of the late Eileen Rienecke and Naomi Samyn
