Obituary for Terrance Lee Sweeney

Terrance Lee Sweeney, a former long time resident of St. Clair Shores and resident of Clinton Twp. for the past 14 years, passed from this life on Monday in the Veterans Hospital of Detroit. He was 70 years of age.

Terrance was born in Detroit on July 25, 1947, a son of the late Harold and Margaret (Johnson) Ward. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. Terrance had worked for the Warner Landscaping Business for over 30 years, retiring at the age of 65.
He was a past member of the Bruce VFW Post. Terrance was a lover of music, especially the blues. He was a fun loving person who always had the ability to make people laugh. He was a very robust and loving person who had a strong faith in his Lord and Savior. Terrance will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Terrance is survived by his loving companion, Carol LaPinta; his loving boys, Brian, Brandon (Kerri) and Justin (Stephanie White); his grandchildren, Alissa and Brian Jr. and by great grandchild, Kylie. He is also survived by his brother Jim.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Infinity Hall Lounge and Sidebar of Fraser, Sunday 5pm till time of Memorial services at 6pm with life celebration dinner following the service.
