Obituary for Antonio E. ""Tony"" Sivalelli

Print
Antonio "Tony" Emilio Sivalelli, a longtime resident of Roseville, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. He was 92 years old.

Tony was born on January 19, 1926 in Detroit to Giuseppe and Louise (nee Squlanda) Sivalelli. He proudly served his country in the Second World War with the 94th Infantry Division. Tony served under General George Patton during the Rhineland campaign. After returning home, he met and married the love of his life, Mary Ciolli at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Detroit on July 9, 1955. The couple made their first home in Detroit before settling in Roseville in 1965. Tony worked for many years in the automotive supply industry before working in civil service. He retired in 1990. Outside of his work, Tony loved baseball, especially the Detroit Tigers, researching military and Egyptian history, and always wanted to know the mysteries of the universe. He especially enjoyed time with his family and friends. Tony was a true family man who only wanted the best for those he loved. He will truly be missed by those he knew and loved.

Tony is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary; cherished sons Anthony and Robert (Natalie) Sivalelli; and beloved grandchildren Isabella and Maxton Sivalelli. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Rose, John, Rocco, Thomas, Mary. and Frances. Tony is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 2-8pm with a 7pm Rosary service at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Road, Fraser, Michigan 48026. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 10:30am with an instate beginning at 10am at St. Faustina Catholic Church, 14025 East Twelve Mile Rd. Warren, MI 48093.
