Obituary

Harold "Harry" T. Stutzky, age 86, passed away peacefully with his family on January 8, 2019. He was born on November 21, 1932 in Deckerville, Michigan.

Survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty Vivian Stutzky, daughters Debra (Greg) Kachman, Diane (Rob) Koschke, and twin sons David and Daniel; thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Helen Stutzky, older brother Richard, younger sister Marilyn Schelle, and newborn daughter LeAnn.

Harry grew up in Detroit and in Palms, Michigan, on various family farms. He served in the Korean War from 1950 until 1952. Harry married his beloved wife on September 12, 1953 at St. Mark in Roseville and raised his family in Warren all these years and was a longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church. He delivered mail in Eastpointe for over ten years, ran several of his own businesses, including his own personal ministry at His Hand Christian Bookstore, and retired from the City of Warren after several years.

Harry's caring and non-judgemental spirit touched many lives and everyone will always remember his jokes and laughter.

My deepest sympathies to Betty and the Stutzky family. There was nothing better than a warm and caring hug from Harry on Sunday mornings. His passion for the Lord always burst through that hug and set my heart afire. I will miss him so, but glad he is home with his Father.

I wish you peace and comfort during this time of sorrow. (2 Corinthians 1:2-4) The Bible gives real hope of being reunited again with your loved one. It promises that your loved one will soon come back to life in the resurrection to a beautiful peaceful paradise on the earth. (John 5:28, 29) Sincerely, S. Ellis
