Condolences

Condolence From:
Condolence: With a moment of sorrow and a moment of peace we all come to realize the things we've missed. With that being said, my Nana was one heck of a woman. She was the one who pushed boundaries, made choices, and let us all know who was boss. She was the one when my grandpa Tom was pushing me around in a box singing "bibbity boppity boo" feeding the raccoons outside the door in Rochester. She used to take me for walks at the Rochester house to the pond where we would feed the fish. Then, there were the days that we would take a ride in Grandpa's station wagon, where she'd tell me to "look in the glovebox, I'm sure grandpa has your chocolate candies in there." She was my inspiration. She put family first and everyone else in life last. Her life revolved around us.
I was 20 years old, and came to my Nana with news of being pregnant. Jon and I were so scared to tell her about our little Jonathon. Yet, there she was to hug me and tell me that she was there for me every step of the way. She would love that little one as her own, and she did...along with the 2 to follow.
I can sit here and tell stories all day, yet I can also tell you what my Nana taught me. She taught me how to be strong in the tough times, how to push through the hard times, and how to love unconditionally. She showed me that no matter how young you are love is something that we all know; yet we are all scared of. She showed me that being a mom is going to be tough, but those moments are worth everything. My Nana was my EVERYTHING.
I cannot write this and say that this is easy. I have never had such a pain in my chest, nor an ounce in my body that has felt this pain. However, I can tell you that I will always live in my Nana's footsteps. I will ALWAYS give to those less fortunate, I will ALWAYS cherish my family and enjoy the moments, but most of all I will LOVE with everything I have, because she did everyday of her life. I cannot live to be the woman my Nana was, but I can strive to be close. Nana, I miss you more than you can even imagine
