Bill was born on October 3, 1934 in Detroit to Robert M. and Kathleen (nee Slusser) Kelley. He met and later married the love of his life, Lynn McCullough, on April 7, 1955 in St. Clair Shores. They made their home in Fraser in 1960. Bill owned and operated his company, Aluminum & Architectural Metals Company in Detroit for many years until his retirement in 2001. Outside of his work, Bill enjoyed camping with Lynn in their RV and operating his HAM radio as KC8DBG. Bill was constantly helping others in his community in numerous ways. He was a proud Fraser Department of Public Safety Reserve officer for 38 years. Bill and Lynn founded Fraser's Christmas in a Small Town in 1978. He volunteered for 30 years with the Detroit Grand Prix Association, Habitat for Humanity, and Macomb County Meals on Wheels. Few people can say they made a difference during the lifetime, but it is certain Bill impacted countless people throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
