Obituary

John Edward Kraft, resident of Jeddo, Michigan, died peacefully on October 9, 2019 surrounded by the love of his family. He was 85 years of age.

John was born in Detroit, Michigan, on January 10, 1934, son of the late Oscar and Mercedes (Hill) Kraft. He served our country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Shortly after his service, he was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Debbie Beaudrie, in April of 1958. The couple was blessed with three beautiful children of whom he loved and cherished. John made a career at Intel Corporation as a computer salesman. He was a member of the Worth Township Trustee and Planning Commission. John also was a member of the American Legion chapter 97 of Croswell, Michigan. He was an avid reader who enjoyed politics and finances. He also enjoyed hunting. Above all, he loved family and looked forward to their family gatherings. John will be deeply missed and his light will continue to glow in our hearts forever.

John is the loving husband of the late Susan; dearest father of Kurt (Dawn) Kraft and the late Eric John Kraft and Michelle Kay (Eric) Goltz; cherished grandfather of Jon- Paul, Kyle (Ashley) and Kelsey; dear great grandfather of Kayla Marie; dearest brother of James (the late Rosalyn), Lucille (the late Harold) Dwyer, Arthur (the late Arlene), Carol (the late John) Perini, David, Thomas (Emily), Martin (Lori), Mary Jo (Arthur) Brooks, Elizabeth (Robert) Horn, Patricia (Ed) Keller, the late Ralph (Joyce) and Daniel, and uncle to many wonderful nieces and nephews.

My prayers to Johns family. We have been Johns niehbors for 7 years and was a great man. I will miss all our talks and he taught me so much through our conversations. My last visit with him. He was still talking and teaching me about politics and views of our lives. I will always be grateful for having him as a neighbor and a friend that allowed us to create so many memories for my son and I also my little grandaughter deer hunting behind his house and the river. He was so excited the day my son had harvested a deer behind his house. Always loved someone elses success. Thank you John and we will all meeet again one day. Rip my friend. THE DEERING FAMILY

I loved the day that I first met John it was...a beautiful September afternoon and as Dawn and I sat and we were chatting this groundhog(wood chuck) appeared beside lol Johns white Jeep?? The thing seemed very confused to were it might be. It started circling the Jeep. In search of what I thought??
As we watched this thing.... we called into the 2 great white hunters( Kurt and John) about what we were seeing. To no surprise out comes Kurt with his long arm (gun)and right behind him was John. So as they carefully looked for this varmint...it seemed to disappear!! But to were??
So now as John pulls the hood lever inside his Jeep, Kurt whom is on the outside of the Jeep and(Kurt) to be the lifter of The hood lol
Oh the conversation between the 2 of them...was very humoris as they warned each other of a sudden attack this animal might have on its mind🤣😂
As they look for this varmit it seems to have disappeared lol so now onto plan B...Kurt shuts the hood down and He and John agree it’s time to take it for a drive and hopefully get this little critter out of the under carriage of Johns Jeep lol
Kurt went for a drive and to our dismay we never did see it hanging around afterwards🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁
So we conclude that Kurt’s driving took care of the problem lol
