Barry R. Morgan, a longtime resident of Clinton Twp., passed away peacefully on December 28, 2019. He was 74 years old.

Barry was born on November 25, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Richard and Hazel (nee Doak) Morgan. After he graduated high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. He married the love of his life, Nancy on June 30, 1965 in Cincinnati. The couple made their first home in Virginia while Barry was stationed at Fort Eustis before moving to Columbus, Ohio and finally settling in Michigan to raise their family. Barry worked for many years for the B.F. Goodrich Company and M.B.M Corporate Trucking in sales, before retiring in 2008. Outside of his work, Barry was an avid reader, American and Civil War history enthusiast, enjoyed watching Fox News, hunting, and archery. Above all, he loved his entire family and especially enjoyed time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Barry is the beloved husband of Nancy; loving son of Hazel; cherished father of David (Jane) Morgan, Dawn (Jeff) White, Stacy Morgan, and Scott (Alisa) Morgan; grandfather of nine grandchildren, and brother of David Morgan. Barry is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 from 2-8pm at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Road, Fraser, Michigan 48026. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 11am at the Christ Gospel Tabernacle, 30500 Harper Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48082 with visitation beginning at 10am. Burial with military honors will take place on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 1pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
