Christine A. Dobbelaer, longtime resident of Roseville, died unexpectedly on January 2, 2020. She was 68 years of age.
Christine was born on July 26, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Michael and Frances (Masucci) Cerra. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Michael Dobbelaer, on March 16, 1973 in St. Clair Shores. The couple made their home in Roseville. Christine worked for Dobbs Carpet Service of Warren in their sales department for 32 years. She loved games and enjoyed playing Candy Crush and other games on her phone. She also enjoyed the world of Facebook and loved watching cartoons. Christine loved her occasional trips to the casino's especially Las Vegas. She was a die hard Steve Perry fan and always looked forward to Journey Concerts. Above all, Christine loved her family, especially her grandchildren; and they were the apple of her eye. She could never say no to them and treasured every moment shared in their company. Christine will always be remembered by her kindness and love. She will be greatly missed and her love will continue to glow in our hearts forever.
Christine is the loving wife of 46 years to Michael; dearest mother of Christopher Cerra; cherished grandmother of Christopher Jr., Zackery (Breann) and Alexis (Kaya); dear great grandmother of Kiley; sister of Carmine (Ronald) Hofer and Sharon (Ed) Clay and the late Michael, Palmereno, Paulette and Carol; and beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
