Emily Rose Smith, left this world in the arms of Jesus on March 23, 2020 surrounded by the love of her family. She was 11 years of age.

Emily was born on August 30, 2008 in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born with many challenges and became our miracle baby. She has been through countless surgeries and once recovered, Emily would smile. She was always happy and laughing. Emily loved her movie days with her mom and her weekend outings. She loved music, her dog and her car rides. Emily was a great example of how to live life by loving everyday. Our sweet angle will continue to glow in our hearts forever.

Emily is the beautiful daughter of Elizabeth Smith and Marcus Stagg; cherished sister of Andrea and the late Riki Smith; precious granddaughter of Walter Smith, Diana (Rick) Paetzke, Lulu Patton and JW Stagg; dear niece of Kristina, Christopher, Susan, Allen, Bud, James, Kim and Ashley; great niece of Michelle and Marty Smith.

A funeral service will be held privately with family only. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be addressed to the family in care of the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Road, Fraser, MI 48026. Please share condolences and memories with family at www.faulmannwalsh. Please continue to keep the family in your prayers and thoughts.

I enjoyed working with Emily and will certainly miss her and her sassy personality. Yet, without a doubt, she is in the arms of Father God, free of any pain and suffering....running, jumping, talking, laughing, etc. I will keep the memories in my heart until I see her again in Heaven. Please continue to rely on God's peace, comfort, and strength during this time of sorrow. He is faithful.

With Love,
Renee R.

One of fondest memories I have with Emy is going to the Library. She would just light up. She so loved her story time. While we were in the car, We would turn up her country western music and she would laugh at me because she knows miss susan does not sing. I will always hold you close to my heart little one. Keep all of them on their toes up there, they will have to learn to keep up with you

My sweet happy little monkey left this world to run and play in God's garden. She will be watched over by her Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Smith as well as her other Great Grandparents. Also may Uncles and Aunts, and that's not mentioning cousins. But mostly she will have her little sister Riki and her favorite dog Dante to run and play with. Until we meet again Monkey remember I love you. And even though I am sad you are gone, I am happy you are no longer in pain. With all my Love, I bid you good-bye for now sweet Monkey. Lovingly, Aunt Shelly P.S. A big raspberry to you. I'll wait for your reply...
