Diane was born on May 26, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Alex and Florence (Kurzenski) Renke. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Francis "Bud" Gibbons, and the couple made their home in Fraser in 1967; and their union was blessed with three wonderful sons of whom they loved and cherished. Diane loved the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday where everyone enjoyed her feast of thanksgiving and her beautiful Christmas wreaths. In addition to her holiday wreathes, she put a lot of love and work into decorating her Christmas tree and she had a love for hearts and angels. Diane always looked forward to the yearly Koss Family Picnics where she would get to catch up and visit with her Cousins, Aunts, and Uncles. She enjoyed her weekly scratch off tickets and starting a new puzzle. Diane loved being outside in the summer months tending to her garden, feeding the birds and watching them as they played in her bird bath in her backyard. Her dog Molly was always by her side and meant the world to her. She had great love for her great friends/neighbors; Lenore, Mira, Laura, Dawn and Dorothy. She will always be known for her sense of humor and her smile that would light up the room. Diane will be greatly missed and her light will continue to glow in our hearts forever.
