John Andrew Brown, a resident of Fraser, was received into the loving arms of Jesus on Sunday morning in his home under the care of hospice and surrounded by the love of his family. He was 74 years of age.

John was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan on December 2, 1945, the son of the late Raymond and Margaret (Sabo) Brown. He was united in marriage to his loving wife, Janet Glass on April 26,1977 in Bowling Green, Ohio. The couple first lived in his home town of Roseville, moving to Fraser in 1981. John had worked in various jobs dealing with vehicles with the McCullaugh Richie Group and drove race cars for the company. He had worked for the Faygo Beverage Company as a truck driver and retired in 2010. John loved hunting, his property and cottage up north, old cars and loved studding the Bible. He was "Mr. Fix-it" and the go to for any household projects. He was a very family oriented man who was humble, enjoyable, and truly loved his Lord and Savior.
John will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

John is survived by his loving wife, Janet, his loving children, Lisa and Jennifer Brown, Jacob Brown, and Christine (Bradley) Lusk; his first wife, Susan; loving sisters, Kathleen (Joe) Miller, and Marlene Rose Anderson, loving brothers, Raymond (Joanne), and Ronald Brown and his loving and adoring grandchildren, Casey Josephine and Samuel John. He is also survived by his brother in law, Gregory (the late Ruth) Przcina.

Visitation will be held at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd., Fraser, Thursday from 2pm till time of funeral services at 7pm. Private burial will be in Cadillac Memorial Gardens, East. Memorials to his favorite charity Salvation Army in his honor appreciated. Share memories with the family at

I would like to send my condolences to the Brown family. I only had the pleasure of meeting John in Bible Class at Grace Christian Church. He was a very kind and considerate man who raised an awesome son, Jake. He will be missed.

My family send our prayers of encouragement and strength to the family. It was a pleasure to know John and Jake at Grace Christian Church. I and my son enjoyed his beautiful kind spirit in the class we took together at the Church that Bill taught. John will be very missed but we will see him again once we are all together with Christ. Thank you for sharing your kindness with us John. We are rejoice that you are with the Father.
