Carole Lynn Keary, longtime resident of Madison Heights, died peacefully in her home surrounded by the love of her family on October 27, 2020. She was 78 years of age.

Carole was born on July 17, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Leo and Ethel (Standerfer) Caron. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, James Keary, on July 29, 1960. The couple made their home in Madison Heights and their union was blessed with four wonderful children of whom she loved and cherished. Carole dedicated her life to her family and made sure the children were raised in a loving home. She especially treasured every moment shared with her grandchildren. Carole enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her friends and family. She will always be remembered by her smile, kindred spirit and her heart of gold. Carole will be deeply missed and her light will continue to glow in our hearts forever.

Carole is the beloved wife of the late James; dearest mother of Jim (Pennie) Keary, Jeanne (Dave) Barlog, Caron (Michael) LaBlanc and Scott Keary; cherished grandmother of eight beautiful grandchildren and three adored great grandchildren; loving sister of Beverly Koch and the late Leroy Caron; and sister-in-law of Liz Caron.

Oh where do I start sweet friend/sister as we said many times , you were the sister I never had. I will miss you so much but I know you are home an at peace. You were such a strong, funny, amazing, graceful, loving woman during your time you were waiting to enter the golden gates of heaven. We had so many wonderful laughs an time to relive our fun times together.
I canโ€™t even begin to tell everyone all the stories of laughter an tears we shared ... Sooo many. ๐Ÿ’• As I sit here with tears I hope you knew how much you meant to me an our family dear Carole/aunt Carole, as all my children referred to you an their uncle Jim.
Such fun we had with our snowmobile / motorcycles, we were all so blessed to have the fun times we did with our children an friends . An then Carole when we lost Roger you an Jim were their for me an my family, I will never forget your kindness an support. Again , when I met Bob you were so sweet an supportive. Bob has always said , you were such a real friend... he loved you sweet friend. You will forever be in my heart...๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’– Bob an Sue (aunt Sue) Love to Jim, Jean, Caron, Scott an your families๐Ÿ’–
