Linda Lou Hindle, resident of Chesterfield and former longtime resident of Clinton Township, died peacefully November 15, 2020. She was 74 years of age. Linda fought a courageous battle and has now won victory with her Lord and Savior.

Linda was born in Indiana, Pennsylvania on May 14, 1946, daughter of the late William and Jean (Paul) Davis Jr. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, William G. Hindle, on November 9, 1963 at Angelica Lutheran Church of Allen Park. The couple made their home in Clinton Township and was blessed with four wonderful children of whom she loved and cherished. When her grandchildren came, they became the center of her world and the apple of her eye. Every year Linda looked forward to the holidays. Making Christmas cookies with her grandchildren was the biggest highlight; and she enjoyed preparing a feast for Christmas Eve dinner. Linda loved the Lord and her church; and it was through her faith that got her through all life's ups and downs. She was a intelligent and faithful woman who lived life with love and purpose. Linda will always be known for her great sense of humor and her smile that would light up a room. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed. Her light will continue to glow in our hearts forever.

Linda is the loving wife of Bill; dearest mother of William (Judith) Hindle, Paula (Jeff) Vlahakius, Nathan (Laurie) and Paul (Julie) Hindle; cherished grandmother of Benjamin (Alissa), Andrew, Emma, Lydia, Annie, Jeffrey, Abbie, Nicholas, Brendan, Ava, Ella, Benjamin and Brady; adored great grandmother of Ezra, Jonathan and Revna; and sister of Tom (Erin) Davis.

Private services were held. Burial was held at Glen Eden Cemetery East. A Celebration of Linda's life will be celebrated at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be addressed to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan, 1169 Oak Valley Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48108 will be greatly appreciated. Share memories at

We hold fond memories of Linda and Bill as support parents for the St. John youth when we were leading that group. You were so supportive as I taught your kids and I have so many fun memories from those times. I still remember Linda coming over to our house after our oldest was born to visit with me and brought so many presents for our little one. She was such a great lady. Our love to you all and may God wrap his arms of comfort and peace around you as you grieve and celebrate the wonderful life and the amazing victory for Linda.

We sincerely send our thoughts and prayers for all of you that you find peace and comfort in our Lord.
We know that is what Linda would want.
I can't believe our friendship has been such a long one(pushing 50 years!).
The last 5 years have been full of laughs and memories as we met over dinner monthly; just old friends pulling up those memories from years ago. So glad she was a part of those times. Our love in Jesus to all of you!
