Obituary

Beverly Jean Hill, resident of Sterling Heights, died peacefully December 23, 2020. She was 74 years of age.

Beverly was born in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of Stanley Joseph and Albena Anna (Rivetto) Falandys. She was united in marriage to her devoted husband, Thomas G. Hill, on February 25, 1987 at St. John Lutheran Church of Fraser. The couple made their home in Sterling Heights. Beverly loved bowling in the winter months and looked forward to the warmer months golfing. She loved getting together with friends and family; and enjoyed their company and playing cards, especially Euchre. Beverly enjoyed her occasional trips to the casino and her rum & cokes. To know Bev, was to love her. She would light up the room with her smile and laughter. Beverly understood the value to friendship; and the love and compassion she gave was a blessing to all. She will be deeply missed and her light will continue to glow in our hearts forever.

Beverly is the loving wife of Tom; dearest mother of Christine (Sam) Basirico, Ronald Jr., Kyle and Ryan Moffitt; dear step-mother of Thomas (Stacey), Robert and Denise (Wendy) Hill; cherished grandmother of Brianna, Samantha, Nicholas, Ronald III., Lexi, Chloe, Luke and Sierra; beloved sister of Janet (the late Donald) Dupure and Kathleen (John) Tilyard; and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

A memorial and celebration of Beverly’s life will be celebrated at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be addressed to the Leader Dogs for the Blind, 1039 S Rochester Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48307 or the Lions Bear Lake Camp, 3409 5 Lakes Rd, Lapeer, MI 48446. She was a good mom. Never afraid to tell you what was on her mind. She would defend or do anything she could for her children. She always made holidays and birthdays special. She would always send me notes with candy in my school lunches. I never questioned her love for me. I am thankful for the many good qualities she passed on to me. I love to cook polish and italian food because of her. She always had a cake on the counter or a pie in the fridge and her spaghetti sauce is still my favorite. There will never be another person like you mom. You were very special. I love you and will miss you for ever. Love your little Ronny xoxo
