Gerald Lee Mullins, known to most as "G", "G-Man" or "Uncle G", longtime resident of Roseville, died peacefully on January 5, 2021. He was 61 years of age.
Gerald was born on May 2, 1959 in Detroit, son of the late Virgil and Grace (Herley) Mullins. He met a girl in 7th Grade and her name was Theresa Ann Curtis. They married on June 27, 1981 and made their home in Roseville. They were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Emily, who he adored and loved. G was the proud owner and operator of Mullins Painting for many years. His talents continued with remodeling, building and helping others with projects. G loved being outside; working, watching baseball games and camping were just few of his favorite things. He had a great sense of humor and will always be known for his laughter. Gerald touched so many people in his lifetime and the compassion and love he gave to others was such a blessing. He will be deeply missed and his light will continue to glow in our hearts forever.
Gerald is the loving husband of Theresa; cherished father of Emily; beloved brother of Robert, Tim (Cindy), George (Pam), Richard (Lynn) and Kurt (Laura) Mullins, Winifred Shomo, Renee (Scott) Currens and the late Virgil Mullins; dear brother-in-law of Doug Curtis, Debbie (Gary) Niedojadlo, Pam Melton, Christina (Dennis) Saddler Donna (Gerry) Frangie, Malcomb Curtis, and Michelle (Sam) Sucura; adored uncle to many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; and dear friend to many.
A celebration of Gerald's life will be celebrated at a later date. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be addressed to the family in care of Faulmann & Walsh, 32814 Utica Road, Fraser, MI 48026. Share memories and photos at faulmannwalsh.com
